This Sector Study sets out an analysis of the annual efficiency statements (AESs) submitted by larger housing associations to the Housing Corporation in July 2005. It includes a summary of the efficiency gains by the sector, analysed by region and type of housing association highlights points of good practice to inform the next round of submissions. We also include recommendations to supplement the next round of Corporation guidance on completing AESs.
