The general awareness of climate change among construction professionals is variable. Flooding for example is widely known. However this is not the case for other types of climate change related incidents.

This event will cover a range of issues, including those highlighted in CIRIA's project, Technical risk assessment of climate change for the construction project, and the range of technical risks that construction professionals, including local authorities, are exposed to from these severe weather events.
