Inspection Uncovered: Lettings

The 'inspection uncovered' series has been produced by Housing Quality Network Services, with the help of an Innovation and Good Practice grant from the Housing Corporation, and are based on a study of the first published reports of formal inspections set alongside the inspectors' own analysis of factors that influence performance drawn from what they have seen.

The six briefing papers match the main service areas that the inspectors review. This one focuses on Lettings and is intended to make clear how the inspection assessments are reached and to highlight positive practice in delivery. It indicates the features that inspectors hope to find in well-performing organisations and gives a picture of what is being achieved by associations across the country.

Other briefings in the series include Customer Service, Anti-social Behaviour, Repairs and Maintenance, Equality and Diversity, and Tenant Involvement.
