The information has been extracted from the regulatory and statistical returns (RSR) completed by all large associations as at 31 March 2003.

It is our expectation that associations will use this information to provide their residents and local authority partners with comparative data showing how their average rents by property size differ from other associations in the same area. In January we will be publishing a companion volume which contains comparative figures for local authority rents, and the private rented sector, together with a commentary by Dataspring.
