Breakfast meeting: Housing Associations as Third Sector Enablers
The Thames Gateway London Partnership (TGLP) and the Housing Corporation are pleased to invite you to a breakfast meeting launch of Providing Services Beyond Housing: Housing Associations as Third Sector Enablers. The case-study based research examines the increasingly significant role of the social-housing sector as “place shapers” and anchors of sustainable community development in the Thames Gateway one of the government’s designated growth areas.
This study, carried out by consultancy firm Rocket Science, focuses on the activities of associations that go beyond the provision of housing services in order to support the wider Third Sector’s contribution to community economic development. The report’s findings and recommendations are pertinent to both the housing and third sectors, as well as the range of partners working at local and regional level on the social and economic future of the Gateway.
