The debate around worklessness in social housing has been wide ranging following the John Hills review last year and more recently the Minister for Housing, Caroline Flint MP's speech to the Fabian Society. We believe that it is timely to explore what more can be done.
This event will be chaired by Peter Dixon, chair of the Housing Corporation and will feature keynote addresses from Caroline Flint MP - Minister for Housing, Stephen Timms MP Minister for Employment and Welfare Reform and senior figures from the Housing Association and Local Authority Sector. This event aims to progress both the thinking and practice behind effectively tackling worklessness, from new policy directions to making the most of existing government programmes.
The event is by invitation only. For any further queries, please contact Felicity Stormont, Marketing & Events Coordinator (ph. 020 7393 2134).
