Individual housing association performance indicator (PI) results for March 2006 are available on the Housing Corporation website from today (Monday 23 October).
The PI website is not only a user friendly benchmarking tool, allowing housing associations to compare data and results, but provides fast access to performance indicator related information.
Clare Miller, Housing Corporation Director of Regulation, said: “This data is extremely useful for housing associations as it can be a valuable benchmarking tool. Housing associations are able to select peer groups and compare on a wide range of PI and related contextual information, comparing a range of indicators from decent homes standard to shared ownership satisfaction, at a glance.”
The data is available on the PI website – www.housingpis.co.uk
A full analysis of results will be available later this year.
Ends.

2) Housing associations with over 250 homes report annually against a set of performance indicators (PIs), which are seen as an indication of performance. The data provides a measure against which performance can be assessed by local authorities, housing associations, service users, auditors and inspectors. The data provides an insight into housing association performances in areas including repairs and Decent Homes Standard.
3) The Housing Corporation is the Government agency responsible for investing in new affordable homes and regulating over 1,500 housing associations across England. Its biggest ever investment programme of £3.9 billion for 2006-08 will fund 84,000 homes; 49,000 of these will be for affordable rent, and 35,000 will be for affordable sale through the Government's new HomeBuy initiative, helping people to get a foot on the property ladder.
