Capital Funding Guide (October 2006) revision history

GENERAL

General-6, para 4.3 has been updated to reflect the replacement of the Department of Trade and Industries Clear Skies Grant with the three-year Low Carbon Buildings Programme.  

REC

Following the Corporation's Recycled Capital Grant Fund and Disposal Proceeds Fund Review the REC chapter has undergone a complete rewrite. Users are required to familiarise themselves with the new layout and content. New content expands on those issues highlighted in the “Important Additional Information” at the beginning of the July Chapter.

SOCIAL HOMEBUY

SHB – 9, para 3.5 and 3.6 has been expanded to provide further clarification in respect of the income multiplier to be applied to new applicants.

SHB – 5, para 4.4 and 4.5 expands on and RSLs internal monitoring requirements.

Proposed revisions to this chapter are still subject to discussion and an update will be provided in due course. RSLs should refer to the current chapter and contact their Regional Investment Officer where any doubt exists.

Sale – 1, para 2.1 has been expanded to provide further clarification in respect of the income multiplier to be applied to new applicants.

EXPANDED OPEN MARKET HOMEBUY

Expanded Open Market HomeBuy is a new Low Cost Home Ownership product available from 2nd October 2006. This new chapter replaces the previous Homebuy chapter. Whilst there is some similarity to the product previously known as Homebuy,  users should familiarise themselves with the content of this new chapter.

RTA

Two Approved Lenders have changed their names. First National Home Finance is now GE Money Home Finance Ltd. The Regents Park Mortgage Funding Ltd is now Kensington Mortgage Company. The list at RTA-4. Paragraph 16.1 has been updated accordingly.

KWL

KWL – 1, para 7.5 has been expanded to provide further clarification in respect of the income multiplier to be applied to new applicants.

The Royal Parks Constabulary have merged with the Metropolitan Police Service. Therefore Royal Parks Constabulary now automatically qualify for KWL assistance as serving Police Officers. Annex B has been updated accordingly.

Ministry of Defence personnel are now an eligible client group. Please refer to Annex B for eligibility criteria.

Control Room staff in East Sussex are now eligible for KWL assistance. Annex B has been updated accordingly.

The eligibility criteria for Essex Police has been updated. Please refer to Annex B for the detailed information.

Education Officers for Looked After Children are now an eligible client group. Please refer to Annex B, within the Education section, for eligibility criteria.
