Northern Lights: Housing associations investing in neighbourhoods in the North

Collectively, the housing associations in the North constitute a significant player in the Northern economy. The close correlation between concentrations of housing association stock and the North’s eight city regions means that housing associations have the potential to make significant strategic contributions to the North’s economy and competitiveness.

Commissioned by the National Housing Federation (North) (NHF) and funded by a Housing Corporation Innovation and Good Practice grant, Northern Lights illustrates the sector’s response to the regeneration agenda and, in particular, how housing associations are meeting the investment priorities of the Northern Way.
