The Housing Act 1996 requires the Corporation to consult before giving a General Consent. At its meeting on 14th March 2006, the Corporation approved the draft General Consent, which is attached to this paper, as a basis for consultation. Comments are now sought from stakeholders on both the principle of such a General Consent as well as its extent and content.
