Report of the Ujima Inquiry

Report of the Ujima Inquiry

This report sets out the findings and recommendations of the independent Inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the collapse of Ujima Housing Association.

Ujima was brought under Housing Corporation regulatory supervision in October 2007, after which significant mismanagement came to light. It became clear that Ujima was in serious financial difficulty and in December 2007 receivers were appointed.

In January 2008, Ujima’s assets and liabilities were transferred to another housing association, London and Quadrant.
