Procedural changes for receiving RSL financial accounts

Housing Corporation News Release
Procedural changes for receiving RSL financial accounts
Tuesday 15 July 2008 50/08
Changes to the way the Housing Corporation collects financial accounts from Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) were announced today.
RSLs will no longer receive initial notification letters regarding annual audited accounts. If the Housing Corporation Registry does not receive annual accounts by the due date (six months after the financial year end), one reminder letter will be sent to the RSL one month after this date.
Auditor's Management Letters should no longer be sent to the Housing Corporation Registry in Leicester, but forwarded directly to the appropriate Financial Analyst or RASA contact for each organisation.
Further information about changes can be obtained by contacting the Registry via the Housing Corporation switchboard: 0845 230 7000.
Ends.
