The following document provides clarification on the performance indicator suite for the year ending 31 March 2009.

There are no substantive changes from last year’s performance indicators. However, in January 2008, following a review funded by the Housing Corporation, the National Housing Federation issued new Standardised Tenant Satisfaction Survey (STATUS) questionnaires and guidance that enabled the survey of all tenants and the collection of revised performance indicators. Our tenant satisfaction performance indicators have been revised to reflect the new STATUS.

There has been no change to our requirement that associations complete a survey consistent with the STATUS methodology at least every three years. The 2009 Regulatory Statistical Return (RSR) will allow survey data predating the revised STATUS methodology, but less than three years old, to be returned.
