The themes for the 2008-10 Innovation and Good Practice (IGP) programme are announced today. Aimed to tackle diverse and complicated issues such as climate change and community cohesion, the IGP will fund new thinking in the following five areas:

  • Tackling Worklessness
  • Promoting Community Cohesion
  • Tackling Climate Change in Existing Stock
  • Efficiency in Housing Management
  • Transforming Estates

Building on the bidding approach we developed for the last round, we intend a two-stage process.  Expressions of interest will be invited to be received by 19th November 2007.  Bidders submitting proposals that match most closely our criteria will be invited at the end of January 2008 to work up full applications for submission by 29th February 2008.

Please note that no applications will be accepted after the submission deadline dates.  To support the progression of your bid, we advise you to engage now in early discussions about your project with your Housing Corporation contact.

Further details on this year's themes and the launch of the bidding process will published shortly.
