CORE (COntinuous REcording) is a national information source funded jointly by the Housing Corporation and the Department for Communities and Local Government (CLG). It records information on the characteristics of both housing association and local authority new social housing tenants and the homes they rent and buy.

The RSR survey (Regulatory and Statistical Returns) is an annual event whereby every registered Housing Association take parts in a census which gathers information about: the type and amount of stock they own and manage; numbers of lettings; rents and service charges; number and reasons for vacancies; aquisitions; sales; and much more.

NROSH (National Register Of Social Housing) collects social housing property level data from England's Local Authorities (LAs) and Registered Social Landlords (RSLs). When complete, NROSH will become a single data repository of social housing stock covering the whole of England to provide better quality, more flexible and consistent data for analysis and reporting as well as reducing the data reporting burden on data providers.
