Six winners of the Gold Award for Excellence 2007 were announced at the awards ceremony in May 2007.
The winners were given their award by Housing Corporation Chairman Peter Dixon and each received £50,000 to fund a nine month knowledge sharing programme with the help of the Corporation's Gold Award team.
The winners were chosen form a short list of 12 very good finalists who were selected from a total of 108 applications which between them own and manage more than one million homes.
With entries up more than 40% on the 2006 scheme, the Gold Awards are firmly established int he affordable social housing sector.
