The National Regulatory Arrangments for Small Associations (RASA) Unit is responsible for regulating all small housing associations in accordance with the Corporation’s Regulatory Code, to ensure that associations are viable, well governed and well managed. Key responsibilities include:

• Review of the annual accounts and auditors’ management letter; 
• Review of the Regulatory and Statistical Return; 
• Facilitating and preparing board reports for mergers and transfer of engagements; 
• Facilitating and preparing board reports for de-registration; 
• Promoting good practice, for example rent restructuring and decent homes; 
• Reactionary regulatory engagement as required.
