National RASA Unit
The National Regulatory Arrangments for Small Associations (RASA) Unit is responsible for regulating all small housing associations in accordance with the Corporation’s Regulatory Code, to ensure that associations are viable, well governed and well managed. Key responsibilities include:
- Review of the annual accounts and auditors’ management letter;
- Review of the Regulatory and Statistical Return;
- Facilitating and preparing board reports for mergers and transfer of engagements;
- Facilitating and preparing board reports for de-registration;
- Promoting good practice, for example rent restructuring and decent homes;
- Reactionary regulatory engagement as required.

If your association has more than 250 homes in ownership or management, you will already have a designated officer to contact regarding any queries;
Enquiries of a complex nature may be referred to and dealt with by Adrienne Roberts, Team Manager.
In exceptional cases (or in the absence of the Team Manager) complex enquiries may be referred to and dealt with by Carol Miles, Head of Regulation (East).
