Innovation and Good Practice (IGP)
The Innovation and Good Practice programme is a revenue grant programme administered by CRMI. Its purpose is to encourage the development and testing of new ideas, and to generate and promote good practice in the delivery of social housing. Read more here
The Innovation and Good Practice Bid Round 08-10 is now closed. We hope to inform successful applicatants of the next stage in January 2008. Please note that allocations under the 08-10 bidding round will be subject to confirmation of funding from Communities and Local Government as part of the Comprehensive Spending Review 2007 settlement.
Our themes for the IGP bidding round 2008-10 are:
- tackling worklessness;
- promoting community cohesion;
- tackling climate change in existing stock;
- efficiency in housing management; and
- transforming estates.
As a result of the successful 2007-09 bid round, sixteen innovative project across the country are set to benefit from £800,000. Read more here
Successful 2007-09 projects were awarded IGP funding under five themes:
- land availability;
- barriers to low cost home ownership;
- responding to an ageing population;
- housing management in the 21st century; and
- tackling respect.
