Right to Acquire forms (January 2006)
Housing Associations can now download the Corporation’s suite of Right to Acquire forms from the Corporation’s website.
The forms are for use when processing Right To Acquire applications and are dated January 2006.
Following publication of the Housing Act 2004, The Housing (Right to Acquire) Regulations 1997 are currently being reviewed and the forms will be subject to amendment in due course, when further announcements will be made.
The forms are as follows:
- RTA1: Applications are legally required to be made in writing, RTA1 can be used for this purpose.
- RTA2: Landlord's formal response to to a Right To Acquire application .
- RTA3: Landlord's Offer Notice.
- RTA4: Landlord's Revised Offer Notice following an appeal to the District Valuer.
- RTA5: Landlord's first reminder to an applicant to complete their application.
- RTA6: Landlord's final Notice to Complete an application or it will be considered as withdrawn.
